Stories are to be shared.

Eve is available for both in-person and virtual school events.

For her school event Eve Wersocki Morris talks about how her dyslexia never stopped her writing stories. She shows some of her writing from primary school and rejection letters from publishers from when she started submitting at 16! She shares her childhood adventures with her younger sister in the Lake District – riding a motor boat, canoeing and eating scones – and mythical creatures and her Polish background which inspired her debut; as well as her experience working in children’s publishing and advice on how the audience can write their own page-turning, spine-tingling adventures.

Eve has a range of event experience. In 2022 she interviewed Liz Kessler on stage at Bath Children’s Literature Festival, spoke at the Manchester Northern Lights Writers Conference and has interviewed authors for exclusive Waterstones bookseller events, including Katie & Kevin Tsang and Benjamin Dean. In her role as Senior Publicity Manager at Simon & Schuster Children’s Books, she helps create and develop authors events for schools and festivals. She has a theatre background – having performed, written and directed plays at university – and is excited to share her own story with readers!
